About the role
We’re looking for a legal advisor who specializes in crypto and fintech to guide our compliance strategy in Latin America. This is a consulting role on contract.
Responsibilities
- Advise on crypto regulation in Latin America
- Develop compliance policies
- Review the terms of service and legal documents
- Track relevant regulatory changes
- Advise on corporate and jurisdictional structure
- Coordinate with outside counsel when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial or technology law
- Knowledge of crypto regulation in Latin America
- Experience with fintech or blockchain companies
- A law degree and an active license to practice
- The ability to explain complex legal topics
- Availability for regular consultations
Nice to have
- Experience with exchanges or DeFi protocols
- Knowledge of regulation in several Latin American countries
- A network in the sector
- Experience with offshore structures
